This is an opportunity to see waves of Purple Martins returning to their night roost on Bird Island. HSV Audubon has a reservation at Ouachita State Park for a Purple Martin Field Trip for
Friday August 5th.
We will meet at the marina at 7:00 p.m.
The cost is $10 plus tax per person, paid at the marina.
We will be back around dark. WE ARE LIMITED TO 20 which will be first-come, first served. Members will have first priority but we usually have room for a few guests.

Be sure to let us know if you'd like to bring guests but understand we won't know how many openings we have for guests until August 1st.
P.S: It is likely to be very hot so bring the non alcoholic beverage of your choice.
If you can not attend that date you are encouraged to arrange a another trip by contacting the State Park. The Martins coming to roost is something every birder should see.
